There is still time to register for those wanting to learn more about camera basics.
This class follows up our first session for Elements of Manual Exposure, where we learned the elements of manual exposure; light, the aperture, the shutter speed and ISO setting. In class you will continue to discover how to navigate your camera controls and take time for shooting exercises.
Bring in 2 to 5 images in a folder on a thumb drive (or cord for camera to computer) from the Navigating Manual Exposure optional assignment (available upon request), for further discussion of using the manual exposure controls with light. We will cover recognizing different qualities of light and a natural light demonstration with reflectors (weather permitting).
Through Shelley’s instruction, you will be on your way to creating better images. Bring your camera with manual exposure controls, the manual and charged batteries. Class is limited to 8 participants and will be held in the gallery at the Flatbed Building, 2832 E Martin Luther King Jr Blvd, Austin, TX 78702.
